Ok...not much I can add to this. Except this. They're open 24/7. You can get just about any hero sandwich with all the works for under 4 bucks with a free can of soda. Perfect for late-late night hunger. Most of the heros I get are $3 or $3.50. I've been buying sandwiches here forever! Kendall blew the lid on it. Also, apparently they deliver but the whole bodegas-that-deliver is a new concept to me so I've never really tried it. Beware on Friday night 'round midnight this place can get packed and walking space is severely limited.

A HUGE fan of Santiago. Your typical Harlem Deli, but with the most amazing philly cheesesteak you will ever have, I promise. It's better than the ones downtown... okay it might not be the most authentic, but I come here at 3am just for the philly cheesesteak. No joke. My roommate thought I was a little crazy for doing this, YES i have walked from Columbia up to this deli because it is totally worth it especially at 3am. The guy doing the cooking (at night and at 3am) is also amazingly friendly. They probably recognize me because I will go in and literally cannot stop smiling, my jaws/cheeks are usually sore the next day from my ridiculous anticipation and unstoppable smiling once I step in here. OKAY yeah I'm a little obsessed and probably biased in my review of this place because it was like a faux-home to me at 3am last summer when I lived on 139th and Broadway... regardless. Do stop by and try out their sandwiches. Or just the cheesesteak. It's only $4, fills you up, is deliciously satisfying, and just so. damn. good. Freshly made on the spot with Boar's head meat (I think), perfectly melted American cheese, some mayo, crisp lettuce, on a semi-chewy, semi-crisp, almost... semi-stale roll. Okay I don't really eat rolls plain so I don't know, but the way the roll is, it's perfect for the cheesesteak. Only helps accentuate the delicious steak... and cheese. YUM. Note: almost cried when I was first told they didn't deliver to Columbia (116th and Broadway) the first time I tried once fall semester started...

Great sandwiches for a great price! They take a little longer then expected to make sandwiches and because the place it small, you're pretty much in the way no matter where you stand when you're waiting for your order to be ready. The area is a bit sketchy too, so I wouldn't suggest going too late or alone. It is also a bodega so you can do some light grocery shopping while you're waiting or even buy a lotto ticket. But always order your sandwich first.

Great sandwiches! 4$ for a hero, and you get a free soda if you take out. Plus they are open 24/7.

They say they deliver. I live literally 0.2 miles from them. They tell me it's too far. If you can't deliver to that short a distance, then don't advertise that you deliver, because you're lying.

A few, simple ground rules for delis taking delivery orders: + It should never take 45 minutes to deliver a sandwich+drink order to an apartment a block away. + Don't tell a customer that the delivery person is "on the way" or "right outside" their apartment unless it's actually true. + If you've already massively screwed up on getting a customer's order to him/her in a timely manner, at least make sure you send them the correct order! + If you've violated all of the above ground rules, try to make sure the sandwich is at least tasty, not dry and chewy. Santiago Deli somehow violated all of these ground rules at once tonight. I'm sticking with Nadal 2 and Majestic Deli.

Carrying almost exclusively "Boars Head" meats and chesses, with a wider variety of meats and chesses then Subways, Santiago can handle all your sandwich needs. The sandwiches are made to order and cut how you want them (thin of thick), at half the price of Subways and at least $1.50 cheaper then some of the newer looking convince stores that have opened up on 136st, 137st.

This place is the best place to get food...no matter what time of day it may be. The food is great, cheap and fresh. I personally love the breakfast sandwiches and 50 cent coffee. The owner is a really chill guy and all but one of the staff that work there is really friendly (the one who works at night and wears glasses isn't very friendly at all...I try and avoid going in there at night because I don't want to deal with his miserable attitude). I highly recommend this place to anyone who lives nearby or is passing by 152nd and Broadway.

Open 24 hours. Small as hell, but no worse than other nearby bodegas. Wall of cold drinks including cheap beer. Lots of candy and junk food. Freezer in the back with ice cream. BUT OH THE DELI! How I sing your praises! $1 for a cup of joe in the morning. $2 for eggs, cheese, and meat (bacon, ham, or sausage) in the morning. $4 or less for anything else ALL DAY LONG. Amazing. I've had their Coney Island Special, their Santiago Special (pastrami, hot mustard, kraut), and at least 2 or 3 others. They are all delicious, use Boar's Head meats, and are available 24 hours a day; unlike other "24 hour bodegas" that only sell the junk food and cigs past 9 or 10 at night.

I don't care too much for this place because it's small and kinda grimey on the inside. They make some deliciously cheap breakfast sandwiches though. Wouldn't trust this place for anything besides hot food or cold drinks. There are too many real grocery stores in the neighborhood to come here looking for food you're planning on taking home to cook.

Santiago's looks scary for its product. The building isn't very clean inside, and the store feels cramped. That being said, it's the best deli in Harlem. I enjoyed their Philly Steak Sandwich quite a bit. It was supposed to come with tomatoes, which I don't understand what tomatoes have to do with a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. I didn't end up getting peppers on my sandwich even though I ordered them, but didn't feel like asking for them when I saw him prepare my sandwich. The bread made this sandwich. I don't know what kind of bread it was but it was crispy for a while until the sandwich juices eventually softened it. The notable difference is the size of the sandwich. Mozzarella sticks and a sandwich at another deli didn't fill me as much as this singular sandwich did. Helped save money. ($8 vs $5) Overall, I enjoyed Santiago's very much and am ready to go into my food coma now.

My order was wrong and I spoke with multiple people but it was never corrected, I called over and over again but the person in charge doesn't listen to what you have to say, he just told me to try later and hung up. I was excited to finally have found a distant place to get some grocery but I guess I was wrong!

Santiago's has basically kept me alive for three years. Low prices, quality sandwiches (best bread in town BTW), and everyone's great there.

Many years ago, I lived on 137th and Broadway. I am pleased to see that there are still a fair number of reviews here so I will add my 2¢... It still seems to be the place to go for sandwiches. I can tell you that, when I patronized this place, they were so delicious for an amazing price. I think it was 2-3 bucks back in my time (2002) but it seems like they're still in operation with the same system. The neighborhood has probably changed, but when I was there I still stuck out a bit. Crazy "artsy" hair non-New Yorker... but after going there a number of times, they got to know me. They liked me. I'd go there at 2 in the morning and it was always fine. Don't be afraid to walk into this tiny place. I loved it then, surely it is awesome now.

Their deliveries are prompt and fast. They save me every month during " shark week". They deliver aleve, maxi pads, chips ahoy, popcorn, sandwich, gummi worms, and ice cream. Same cool mexican guy, on bike no matter the weather- so I hope you're tipping. The sandwiches are good, and cheap. While the interior isnt marvelous, the deliveries are. They need french fries, during pms I want french fries too!

OMG.... awesome Philly Cheesesteak. Just tell the guy throw everything in it (don't be a whimp lol). Actually it will come with lettuce, tomato and the meat cheese portion on a toasty bread very much like a baguette bread. My co-worker and I are contractors (that means we have an exceptional pallete for street food). Hit up this spot you won't be disappointed!

What ?? Are you people from Mayberry ?? Santiago is like every other deli in Harlem... Cheap sandwiches with Boarshead.....Big whup.. The only difference is the cats...
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
